Commissioning a piece from DJ Meyer is a unique extraordinary journey. Throughout the commissioning process, DJ Meyer devotes her focus to melding the client's vision with her own, resulting in a truly unparalleled work of art. This unique opportunity fosters a collaborative environment, where clients engage in direct communication with DJ Meyer to bring their exclusive artistic vision to life.
SUBJECT & STYLE
For commissions, DJ Meyer draws inspiration from her past works or photographs provided by the client. Meyer exclusively accepts commissions for seascapes, landscapes or abstract pieces, which are crafted using her distinctive multi-layered marking techniques.
Typically, the commission process begins with Meyer assessing the client's home or commercial space either in person or virtually. She then offers recommendations tailored to the space, considering factors like size, color, and subject matter. Photoshop is often utilized to stage ideas for clients digitally, and Meyer may create a prototype painting before proceeding with the final piece. The result is a dazzling collaboration between artist and client, tailored to their unique vision and space.
DIGITAL STAGING
Experience the magic of DJ Meyer's exquisite paintings in your own home with our digital staging service. Before making a fine art purchase, visualize how a painting will complement your space and perfectly align with your style.
With this complimentary service, you can simply browse DJ Meyer's portfolio, select your desired painting(s), and provide us with a few photos of the room where you intend to display the artwork, along with at least one measurement for reference (such as furniture dimensions or tape on the wall). Our dedicated team will create a realistic, to-scale representation of the painting in your space.
This service is ideal for commission inquiries as well. We will collaborate with you to adjust the size, angle, and lighting of the piece of artwork until it harmonizes seamlessly with your environment.

What is a Commission?
A commission is a bespoke work of art meticulously crafted to fulfill the client's vision.
What Subjects Can be Commissioned?
DJ Meyer exclusively accepts landscape and abstract commissions, drawing inspiration from existing paintings or client-provided photographs.
Are Commissions Framed?
Commission prices include our exclusive warm silver leaf floater frame. Additional frame options such as black, white, or natural wood are available for an extra fee, adding 2 inches to the canvas size.
What is the Price for a Custom Commission?
Prices are approximately $3.70 per square inch.
How Much Will Shipping/Delivery Cost?
Shipping costs vary based on the painting's size. Within the continental United States, shipping is included for petite works. Medium-sized paintings (577 to 1,200 sq. in.) incur a $550 shipping fee, while large-sized paintings (1,201 sq. in. to 2,304 sq. in.) have an $850 shipping fee. For paintings or commissions larger than 2,305 sq. in, contact us at djmeyerart@gmail.com for a quote.
For international shipments, please reach out directly for a shipping quote. DJ Meyer Art offers international shipping.
Additionally, delivery options are available for collectors in Southern Florida. Delivery is included for clients in Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami Dade Counties, while clients in the balance of the South Florida area incur a $650 delivery fee.
Local Pickup
You can alleviate the shipping carrier fees on qualified original artworks with local pickup at DJ Meyer Art, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Local Pickup is offered on a case-by-case basis. Contact DJ Meyer Art via e-mail at djmeyerart@gmail.com to discuss your artwork with Local Pickup.
Upon scheduled pickup, please have your order confirmation email with you. Artwork must be picked up via appointment within 30 days of purchase/payment confirmation.
Pickup of Abandoned Artworks
A storage fee of $10.00 per day will be charged for those orders not picked up within the initial 30 days of the purchase of artwork. Storage fee will accrue for a total of 30 additional days for a total of $300.00. Should artwork not be picked up after 60 days from initial purchase/payment confirmation, the artwork will be assumed abandoned. In the case of abandoned artwork, the purchaser will no longer be eligible for any future Local Pickup. The original purchase price of the artwork will be refunded via the original payment method minus the total packing costs and storage fees accrued. Once DJ Meyer Art has commenced the refund, the original artwork will then become available for purchase to other customers in person, on the website, and in other media outlets.
Is There a Deposit?
A 50% refundable deposit is required. The deposit can be refunded at any point during the commission process, and canceled by either DJ Meyer or the client. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the painting. Payments can be made via credit card, check, cash, Paypal, or Venmo.
What is the Timeline?
Upon receipt of the 50% deposit, the client is added to the commission waitlist. Commissions are completed in the order they are received, with a current turnaround time of 2-3 months.
